CAMEROON: WHICH ELECTIONS DURING THE ANGLOPHONE CRISIS?

Since 2016, the North West and South West regions of Cameroon have been through a serious so-called Anglophone crisis.

Since the Cameroonian government has decided to maintain the holding of this double ballot of February 9, 2020, the Cameroon Renaissance Movement has decided to boycott the said elections.

On Saturday February 8, 2020, we have the opportunity to discuss the subject with Augustin Tchaméni, National Secretary in charge of external relations for the Cameroon Renaissance Movement.

Following the presidential election from October, 7th 2018, Barrister Ndoki has been arrested and arbitrary detained during 8 months in Nkondegui, Yaoundé main prison.

Barrister Simh is the master mind behind the team that adamantly defended 159 political detained and eventually obtained their final discharge. 

On November 8. 2019 in Geneva, we’ll be looking back, with Barrister Daniel Mbangui, at all  those things beyond belief in 2018.

Violation of human rights in Cameroun!

                               What is the reaction of European Union?


Between 2008 and 2020, the European Union financed in Cameroon, various cooperation projects among others in the field of: gender equality, human rights and governance, for more than 540 million euros .  On 18 April the European Parliament issued an emergency resolution calling for the release of opposition leader Maurice Kamto and criticizing the action of security forces in the English-speaking regions of Cameroon.
